Florida West Arts visual artist members, who are featured on this website, are called ARTgalleryflorida artists. Only a select number of members are chosen to exhibit in “One Person Shows” on floridawestarts.com. Some of those selected for the ARTgalleryflorida artist designation have already received awards in our Artescape Series of juried exhibitions. Others have received awards in other gallery, museum and art center competitions.
In addition to being featured on this website, the artworks of our ARTgalleryflorida artists and our other visual artist members are also featured in exhibitions at the new Florida West Arts Showcase at the International Design Center in Estero Florida.
With the opening of our Showcase it is time to grow wings. For the 2008 -2009 season, the design center provides us with expanded space so that we can serve more artists and provide more events for the enjoyment of our art lovers and patrons.
